North Texas Giving Day is both a day, and a year-long supportive effort sponsored by the Communities Foundation of Texas.

It's a day: On the third Thursday in September, the Foundation promotes giving to donors across north Texas. Non-profits are encouraged to reach out to their donors as well.

It's a year-long supportive effort: Throughout the rest of the year, the Foundation covers all credit card transaction fees, ensuring that 100% of every donation goes directly to MSMCS.

It provides exposure to MSMCS because potential donors can learn about MSMCS on the NTxGD website. Since NTxGD verifies all non-profits on their site, the donor can give with confidence.

The donation form on the NTxGD site offers the donor two opportunities:

To make a donation to the Communities Foundation of Texas.
