Alumni Spotlight
“I attended the University of Arkansas and am now a police officer with the Dallas Police Department. Celebrating daily mass, growing up in a small-classroom environment, and monthly opportunities for confession and adoration helped guide my formation into adulthood, and devotion to service. I am truly grateful for the patience and understanding of all the teachers that had me as a student, specifically Mrs. J, Mrs. Fiegenschue, and Sister Mary Anne. I’m glad that I was blessed to have my first holy communion, first reconciliation, and confirmation integrated into the curriculum during my 10+ years at MSMCS (and POPCS). MSMCS helped fuel my passion for service of others, and Godly adult life.”

Graduate Profiles
“I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor for the Dallas Independent School District practicing family therapy. I decided to become a counselor because I knew I wanted to help people; this desire comes from God. My certainty in this calling comes from the constant support and nurturing that I received as a child at home and school. Specifically, at MSMCS, helping others was encouraged through food drives and collecting donations for the White Rose. In my free time, I volunteer as a counselor for Rachel’s Vineyard post-abortion healing retreats. This interest also dates to a 5th grade research project. My teacher encouraged me to interview a post-abortive woman and write a story about her. As a volunteer counselor, I now help women write a different story, one of healing.”
