BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mr. Peterman and his wife, Laurie, have raised five now-adult daughters, all of whom graduated from Mount St. Michael Catholic School. David serves as the overall Coordinator of the Christian Community of God’s Delight, a lay Catholic Charismatic Covenant Community (GodsDelight.org) in Dallas, the President of the Board for Mount St. Michael Catholic School (MSMCatholic.org) in Dallas, the moderator of the North American Network of Charismatic Covenant Communities (NANccc.org) and is on the advisory council of Pentecost Today USA (PentecostTodayUSA.org). David received a BS degree in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Dallas. David retired in 2022 from Texas Instruments, after a 45-year career leading numerous engineering and commercial teams.

Mr. Dorsey and his wife Christy are lifetime members of the Christian Community of God’s Delight and raised five adult children, four of whom graduated from Mount St. Michael Catholic School. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA.  He worked in aerospace for 32 years before making the leap to VP of Human Resources at Smith Systems for 3 years.  He recently retired and now Charlie actively lends his hands and problem solving skills managing and maintaining the many projects and repairs on the MSMCS campus.  His contributions include designing and building the barn, school chapel, outdoor classrooms and the playground.

Mrs. Dorsey earned a BS in Elementary and Special Education.  She taught for almost 40 years giving the last 25 to MSMCS in many capacities as a classroom teacher, room mother, and assisting Charlie with campus projects.  Now retired, Christy continues to sub and provide teacher support across all grade levels. 

Mr. Coxon and his wife, Virna, have three sons who all attended Mount St. Michael Catholic School. Chris serves on the Board of Mount St. Michael Catholic School and is an Area Pastoral Coordinator for the Christian Community of God's Delight. Chris has degrees from Benedictine College, Pheonix University, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has served in a number of educational and philanthropic leadership positions across the past 37 years, most recently at the Communities Foundation of Texas. 

Mrs. Montgomery, a member of the Christian Community of God’s Delight since 1975, currently serves as the leader of its Music Ministry. She has been involved in Mount St. Michael Catholic School since it began in 1986 as Prince of Peace Community School. From 1986-2000, Gretchen initially taught music to grades 1-4, then all subjects to grades 1-3, and one year also taught an Opera study and writing elective for grades 7-8. From 2000-2018, Gretchen served as the principal, leading the school into daily Mass and its Classical Curriculum. Now in retirement, she assists the MSMCS administration, the MSMCS Music Ministry, and serves on the MSMCS Board of Directors to aid in the school’s continued advancement. Gretchen holds a BS in Music Therapy from Texas Women’s University, a Master of Catholic School Leadership from the University of Dallas, and a Master of Theological Studies from Ave Maria University. She has been married to her husband, Bob, also a member and coordinator of CCGD, for 41 years.
