Mrs. Melissa Castro
Mrs. Castro has been with MSMCS for over 25 years. Mrs. Castro holds BS in Elementary Education (1-8) and Specific Learning Disabilities from Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Mrs. Vanessa Gurrusqueta
Mrs. Gurrusqueta has over 7 years of experience in the education arena. She’s completed her Montessori training as Lead Guide for ages 0-3 several years ago. She enjoys baking, flower arranging, reading and spending time with my family and 9-year-old son.

Miss Kristen Diguette
Miss Diguette joined the MSM team in Fall 2021 as a Montessori Guide. Last year she served as an assistant at a Montessor schooli in Irving. At that time, she completed certification in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and the MINT AMI Orientation course. Before this, she earned her BA at Franciscan University of Steubenville and served as a missionary in Belize for 3 years.
Children's House Assistant Guide
Mrs. Maria Gutierrez
Mrs. Maria Gutierrez joined MSMCS faculty as a Montessori Assistant Guide. This is her third year as a MSMCS parent. She's a mother to four children, three of whom attend MSMCS. She believes that our children's faith formation and education is the primary goal as parents, but understands it can't be done alone. She's really excited to be part of MSMCS staff in aiding and assisting our wonderful Montessori teachers.

Mrs. Maria Montes
This is Mrs. Montes second year with MSMCS. She obtained her teaching certification from the Universidad of Vigo in Spain. She obtained her certification as a Montessori guide in Dallas since 2013. She has over 24 years of teaching experience.
Children's House Assistant Guide
Mrs. Cynthia Iturralde
Mrs. Cynthia Iturralde comes with experience in the Montessori education field for over 5 years. Her formal Montessori education comes from the Association Montessori Internationale and attended college at Cisco Junior College, majoring in dance. As a guide to tomorrow’s leaders, she embraces these words by Dr. Maria Montessori “Of all things, love is the most potent.”
First Grade Teacher
Mrs. Ngo, Thanh Truc (Maxine)
Mrs. Ngo is on her fourth year with MSMCS. She has six years of teaching experience. She holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Texas in Arlington.
Second Grade Teacher
Mrs. Brenda Powers
She has an Elementary Education degree from Texas Tech University specializing in Early Childhood Education. She has been a MSMCS parent for 22 years. She likes reading, watching movies and hanging out with her family.
Third Grade Teacher
Mrs. Christy Dorsey
Mrs. Dorsey went to Texas Women’s University with a BS in Elementary and Special Education. This is her 7th year at MSMCS and she’s had over 17 years’ experience in teaching. Mrs. Dorsey is also an alumni parent since four of her children attended MSMCS.
Fourth Grade Teacher
Miss Meghan McLellan
This is Miss Meghan MacLellan's second year at MSM and first year teaching 4th grade. She graduated from Benedictine College with a Bachelor's degree in English. Though only in her second year working for MSM, Miss Mac is actually an alum of MSMCS.
Fifth Grade Teacher
Ms. Marianne Telepak
Ms. Telepak has been teaching at MSMCS for over 20 years! She’s also a former parent of MSMCS. She holds a B. S. in Special Education from Franciscan University.
Sixth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Jessica Lynch
Mrs. Lynch graduated from the University of Dallas with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is her 18th year as an educator, and her second year at MSM. Her three children currently attend MSM. In her free time she enjoys watching baking shows, cross stitching, reading, and cheering on her kids at all their extra-curricular activities.
Seventh Grade Teacher
Mrs. Dominique Catalan
This is Mrs. Dominique Catalan’s first year with MSMCS. After graduating from The University of the Pacific, in Stockton, California, she began working at St. John Catholic School. Her time there allowed her to grow her skills and experience while working on her Master’s Degree.
Eight Grade Teacher
Mrs. Terry MacLellan
Mrs. Terry MacLellan returns to MSM this year! She had worked here teaching 6-8th grade science, math, and religion for 5 years and has come back home to MSM. Both of her children graduated from MSM and went on to THS and then to Benedictine, and Franciscan University of Steubenville. In her spare time, she loves to hike and canoe with her husband and visit with family and friends, especially her mama!
Mrs. Nohemi Aguirre
Mrs. Nohemi Aguirre is new to MSMCS. She will be teaching Spanish to 3rd – 8th graders. She has been a Catechist at the Guadalupe Cathedral for the last nine years. She has a bachelor’s degree from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. She’s currently seeking her Master’s in Theology from the University of St. Thomas. She’s happily married with four beautiful children. She is thrilled to be sharing her native language of Spanish with the students at MSM!
Mrs. Kellie Rusnak
Mrs. Rusnak went to Franciscan University of Steubenville where she earned a BS degree in Elementary Education K-8. She is certified for Level 1 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and will complete her Level 2 certification next summer. She has 14+ years in Catholic education and is thrilled to be working with the children at MSM. She has 3 beautiful children.
Ms. Zina Martin
Ms. Martin has been with MSMCS for three years . She has over eight years as a teaching artist and over fifteen years as an artisan/designer.

Mr. Seth Benavides
Mr. Seth Benavides, or Mr. B., has been part of the MSMCS community for over 10 years. He attended youth groups at MSM back since 2006 until 2011. He has younger siblings that have attended/attend MSM. He loves to help where he’s needed. He’s very happy to be at MSM and serve wherever he can.
Physical Education Teacher
Mrs. Dawn Schell
Mrs. Schell has been with MSMCS for over 20 years. She’s also a parent of MSMCS alumni. Mrs. Schell comes with years of experience in keeping our children active throughout the school day as our physical education teacher.
Ms. Ana Stevenson
Ms. Stevenson is a current senior at The University of Dallas studying English. As a Mount St. Michael alum she is grateful to give back to the school that gave her so much. After graduation, she hopes to teach English one day like her mother, and spread the gift of the Catholic classical education she received from MSM.

Mrs. Shannyn Chance
Mrs. Chance has worked in the MSMCS Development office for 10 years. She has a B.A. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. In addition to heading up our development team, Shannyn has also been a parent at MSMCS for over 20 years.
Mrs. Dora Camacho
Mrs. Dora Camacho is from Costa Rica. She holds an MBA in Marketing from Universidad de Costa Rica, in San Jose, Costa Rica and a Bachelor's in Advertising from Universidad Internacional de las Américas, in San Jose, Costa Rica. Three years ago, her family moved to Dallas after living 8 years in Mexico City. She’s been married for over 20 years with two children who attend MSMCS.

Mrs. Judy Jamaica- Saldaña
Mrs. Saldaña hold an Associates Degree in Accounting from Dallas College. She has over 15 years of experience working with communities in how the education system functions. Mrs. Saldaña enjoys watching her kids play club soccer over the weekends and spending time with the family.

Mrs. Mendez has been with MSMCS for over 20 years! Mrs. Mendez has been our “go to” queen for many years. She is also a former parent of our school
